PAULA JAHN (née SCHMIDT) (1880–1956)

Paula Jahn, who was born in Hamburg, survived being sent to the »Aktion T4« program. She was 57 years old when she became an institutionalized patient. On August 26, 1941, she returned from the Herborn transit institution to the Lüneburg mental hospital. On September 8, 1943, Paula Jahn was selected a second time for euthanasia and taken to the Pfafferode killing center. Paula Jahn survived this transfer as well. On November 4, 1947, she returned once again to the Lüneburg Institution and Nursing Home. She was discharged on April 11, 1949.
