KARL BRANDT (1904 – 1948)

Karl Brandt was Adolf Hitler’s personal physician and General Commissioner for Medical and Health Services. In this role, he was primarily responsible for the murder of around 270,000 people in the »euthanasia« programme. He was sentenced to death at the Nuremberg Doctors‘ Trial and executed in Landsberg in 1948.
